What does summer mean to you?
Summer means grabbing my bathing suit from the back of my closet more often than usual. Summer is when I'd rather go for ice lollies than hot chocolate. It's when fiction stories, movies and new songs have dominated algebra and biology. It's when I find the stress, slowly fading away. Summer's when I don't keep track of the days nor the dates--it's when I'm free from everything in the world. It's when I have time to do almost everything I want to.
If that's what summer means to me, then summer's officially here for this girl!
Here's what this post is all about.
Today I was looking for new blogs to follow and posts to read and get inspired from and I found this cute, little blog called
Being Shelley by Shelley, and she made a post about a
Summer list. I decided to do something fun and interactive with this idea, so I decided to make "The Summer List Link Up"!
So here's what happens. Everyone wants to have a fun summer, now who does not? The more productive our summers can be, the more fun we have. The more we spend time to think of things we want to do during the summer, the more excited we could also get to do more things! And, it's good to keep a list of things we expect to do, because if we're really that committed to the time summer's given us, then we'd always find the best and efficient ways to be able to do those activities.
Now the catch for this little activity. One, write a summer list that consists of 10 different things to do. Two, you need to ACCOMPLISH all of those 10 things. Three, you're going to present the activities that you did with photos, collages, videos, diys, stories or any other way you can think of. (That automatically gives you 10 new blog posts this summer!!
If I could sum everything up in one sentence or phrase: what you're doing is a summer bucket list (that has to be done and complete over summer), and you're going to blog about every single thing that you've done.
This activity will SUPER benefit you this summer. Go out more often, host photoshoots, go biking, do something extraordinary....THEN STILL blog about it! Plus, there is NO writer's/photographer's/artist's/blogger's block!!! It's summer...the time when you have time for everything and anything! And hey--two months? Ten fun and productive things planned by you? More than enough time! And...I don't want to be the only one doing it :)
If you're going to do The Summer List activity, you've got to do to spread the link up / activity to the blogging world! All that you have to do is to place any of these buttons on your sidebar or on each post about it that you make. The more the merrier! Plus, it'll give me the chance to see who would be participating!

So that nobody goes on alone, I'll start writing my summer list now, right here :)
